It won't be out until February, and boy does that snow look odd as we sit here in the middle of summer (well, in the northern hemisphere, at least), but how cute is Rex the Golden Retriever? And how much do we love books about a hunky veterinarian and the reluctant cowgirl who even more reluctantly falls for him?
So, without further ado ...
The back-cover copy:
The Skye family rebel never wanted to be a cowgirl ... and she sure didn't plan on coming home for good.
Grateful to her twin for keeping Mustang Ridge in the family, Jenny Skye agrees to return home for a month so her sister can get away. It’s the middle of winter, and only a few year-round staffers, her family, and the animals will be there. But the globe-trotting videographer is soon in way over her head at the dude ranch dealing with reservations, her redecorating-obsessed mother, and the town's hunky new veterinarian.
Despite his adventurous past, Nick Masterson is putting down roots in Mustang Ridge. When a stray dog, a missing family member and a snowstorm conspire to throw him and Jenny together, there's no denying the blaze of attraction. But can a relationship that began in the heat of the moment turn into something more for a woman who's always been eager to put her hometown behind her?

Thanks for letting me share my Squeeeeeee!
Even though I'm not much of a winter person (which is one of the many reasons we now live in SC) - this is one gorgeous cover! You are so entitled to Squeeeeee! Can't wait to read WINTER AT MUSTANG RIDGE.

Btw, did you ever get my email? Just wondering.
Thanks, Anne!! And yes, I did, and a reply is on its way with book club questions and such. Thanks again to your group for picking Summer at Mustang Ridge for discussion!
DeleteIt was great to see you, hubs, and the gang in Atlanta. You guys rock, as always.
LOVE the cover on the next book and am very much looking forward to Jenny and Nick's story.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gail!! Hugs, and more to come later today. It's been one of those weeks ... (not in a bad way, just in a busy one!).
DeleteI love the cover!!! I don't know how I'm going to waiy until Feb. to read it!! LOL
ReplyDeleteJess, I absolutely LOVE the cover. I love snow covered cabins, and you throw in cowboys, and I am a goner. I can already picture scenes in my mind in front of cozy fires, maybe some hot chocolate, good book, etc, etc, etc. These scenes aren't of your book, but just in general. I can't wait to read it. I read Sunset and Keyhole Canyon yesterday, and fell in love with the setting, and the story was great too. I am waiting patiently for my stuff to get here, so that I can read Summer at Mustang Ridge. Aaahhhhhh! I hate waiting...I need my books, going through withdrawal here. Thanks for sharing the cover :)
ReplyDeletePeace and love,
